Mo. Jo.

Not that I want to jinx it or anything, but I seem to have found a bit of my mojo for working out again.  Tomorrow marks the 3rd time in less than a week that I’ve gone to the gym to workout. That is the best I’ve been since July.

What worked for me before was being to find an exercise I liked that I didn’t have to go anywhere to do.  I had one of the best running paths in the city right outside my door.  Unfortunately this little thing called “change of seasons” sort of messed with that.  The other thing that caused issues was time.  Work is just so nuts right now.

So, I sucked it up, made a case for it being a necessary expense, and got a membership at one of the clubs downtown.  The one that is in my path between work and daycare.  As in, I have no excuse for not making it there.

So far, so good.  I go in late on days when I know I’ll work late.  I can leave early if I need to on other days (OT is making that possible) and A is picking up the kiddo when he needs to. It looks like I may be back on the right track.  Knock on wood.

    Can you send some of the mojo my way? I had the time and the good weather today and I just frittered it away.

    i can feel my mojo flagging with the change in weather…the mornings are just so dark and so cold. jealous of your proximity to a nice gym!!!
