Last year was a bust for the garden. We had a varmint take up residence in our neighbors yard and it ate all 8 of my brussels sprouts. I was also either largely pregnant or a sleep deprived mess. This year however, after a late start, I think I’ve found some of my mojo. I’ve got the baby jail and a kiddy pool patched with duct tape.
I also realized via my iPhone that I missed taking pictures. (these I got the big camera out for)
Wild cilantro. On its way to being full on coriander. A volunteer. I support volunteers.
My favorite weed. We have too much, I take too many pictures.
My girl. There is some serious pretty behind that hair. Also, a major attitude. Definitely my kid.
So, here is to gardening. Brussels sprouts, tomatoes (4 varieties), peppers (2, both spicy), zucchini and a first for me, pumpkins. Because you can’t have kids and not have pumpkins. I’ve killed the wasps, the weed trees are next. My yard will be mine before the fourth of July.
