I nearly forgot about my three month follow up with my new endo. I sort of wish I had. My surgery, a whole two months ago, has been my excuse for bad eating for far too long. It showed. My numbers were not where they should have been after three months of hard work. Because it was a month of good work, and two months of slacking off.
I had already started to wake up, to realize what that I needed change. I have been out exercising twice in the last four days. Today is a day off, tomorrow I will be back at it again. The next thing that needs to change is how I eat. I’ve been trying to get on track. I have a good morning and a good lunch, and it goes off the rails at about two in the afternoon. Chocolate, salty foods, anything. I try to eat a later lunch, no luck. I try to eat a fruity snack then, no luck.
I think I need a clean slate. I think I need to give up sugar.
I’ve done this once before. I lasted a month. But when it was done, I ate better overall.
So, any good food suggestions? Other than quinoa. That just finished cooking. I’m going to try to make a salad with it for tomorrow.
Anyone done a juice fast? Is there even anywhere that does that locally?
Here I am today. Digging the fall weather and the nice clothes it brings. I may or may not have ordered a couple more skirts. I just can’t seem to find pants (other than jeans) that aren’t schlumpy. So, skirts & dresses it is.
T- Old Navy – XXL
Skirt – Old Navy Plus
Tights – Cheap Spanx from Target – High waist. I love how they make me look, I don’t really mind them, but damn am I glad to take them off at the end of the day.
Sh0es – My Born flats. Love them. Need more shoes. That don’t give me blisters.

I just started a diet without sugar and low in carbs. I haven’t felt this good in so long.
One of my favorite snacks/light dinner is an avocado I slice in half, score, add hot sauce, and sprinkle with a little cheese. I broil it on low for about 4 minutes. It’s so good….and it keeps me on track, especially when I just eat one half. I even have some tortilla chips with it to get that yummy, salty crunch. Good luck!
